When we are weak.
If today, you are undergoing tremendous struggles or just tried of the daily grind, then come to His presence and He will lighten your load. Indeed, when we are weak, He is our strength.
Healthier (?) alternatives to processed meats
Ham, hotdogs, bacon are not healthy and we must avoid these as much as possible. Lately, I've come across some alternatives, made from fish. I'm not sure if these are healthier than the usual processed stuffs. What do you think?
This is the fish patties when cooked.
I topped it with tomatoes and a cove of garlic.

Herbalife Obssession
I was introduced to Herbalife a few months ago as a way to reduce weight. They have a Nutritional Shake which is packed with nutrients. This will be a substitute meal. You can have this for two or one meal a day instead of eating your usual food. When I was starting, this was my breakfast and snacks. Eventually, it became my dinner. Today, I alternately take it for either my breakfast or dinner. You put in about 2 scoops in the blender and for me, I add in non fat milk, oats and fruits. It taste so yummy. My favorite flavor is Vanilla. I love the taste and the fact that I stay full for about 3 hours.
Planetshakers Concert
I went to the Planetshakers concert at the Araneta Coliseum and I say, it was amazing. It is really wonderful to worship God among multitudes of believers. Its like a glimpse of heaven.
And I was really amaze that a coliseum as big as Araneta can be filled to the rafters by Christians.

Mount Mayon
I went to Legaspi City recently and I got some shots of the perfect cone, the majestic Mt. Mayon, which is actually a volcano. I also had a hotel view of the said volcano. I think that anywhere you are in this city, you can still see Mt. Mayon. Some of these shots are taken in the morning and some in the afternoon.

So, what is your favorite Filipino breakfast?

What to eat in Legaspi City, Bicol
There are several unique dishes in Legaspi City which feature their famous recipes like laing, bicol express, etc.
These are the Laing pizza, bicol express pasta, pili ice cream lava and of course the sili ice cream.
Most taste spicy. The sili ice cream "spiciness" have different levels, for beginners, for mid range and the extreme. I can only tolerate the ones for beginners. But it does taste yummy.

My Lemon drink
Aside from the malunggay and lemongrass drink, I also have my own lemon infused water in my fridge. I drink them alternately. I chopped about 2 medium sized lemons and put it in a one liter tumbler of water.
My super healthy drink
For over a year now, I've been drinking boiled malunggay leaves. Malunggay, as we know, is a super vegetables, with all its nutrients. However, this alone does not taste good. Recently, I've read the health benefits of lemongrass so I thought of boiling it together with the malunggay leaves and this time, the taste improved a lot. I even got my boy to drink it.
Taho for brunch
Today is a holiday so I slept longer. And I had Taho for brunch. Taho is made of soy which has a lot of health benefits.
Husby's Cookin'
The hubby has been into cooking lately and this might well be fleeting so I guess I have to chronicle it in this blog.
He made Pansit Cantoon without soy since our son is G6PD, so he used oyster sauce instead. And its really good.
Then he made lugaw, using of course, malagkit rice. At first, its texture was like biko, so he added water and again, it taste good.
Then he cooked pork menudo. Well, he was cheating when he was doing this coz he used ready made menudo sauce from Del Monte. hehe.
Then he also made Pinakbet. It was salty at first because he used a lot of bagoong.
He also cooked Pork Adobo with eggs and potatoes but I forgot to take photos. Maybe, next time.
Husby cooked canton with bihon. And it taste good.
