Kamias is a tropical fruit in the Philippines. back in my province, we use it in cooking fish. And as a child, we eat it raw just dipping it in some salt.
Kamias fruit contains a small amount of vitamins and minerals. According
to Purdue University, an edible portion of kamias is considered to be
100 g, and this contains 0.61 g of protein, 0.6 g of fiber, 3.4 mg of
calcium, 1.01 mg of iron, 11.1 mg of phosphorus, as well as trace
amounts of other minerals. (Source:Livestrong)
Recently, while eating at a Filipino buffet restaurant, I chanced upon this Kamias Shake and I had to try it. Oh, I taste so good. Its not sour and the sweetness is just right. So, I got another fill. hehe.
